Ultrasonic scalers are used to remove calculus rapidly from the tooth surface. WISEDENT ultrasonic dental scaler is a workhorse designed for fast, comfortable supra- and sub-gingival debridement. The scaling tip vibrates in the ultrasonic range of 20-45 kHz (i.e. 20,000 to 45,000 times per second), with an optimum frequency between 18 kHz and 32kHz.f-enough to strip tenacious calculus without overheating enamel or root surfaces. A detachable LED ring throws 30 000 lux of white light directly onto the tip, so you see every fleck of deposit even in the distal molar box. Three preset modes—Perio, Scaling and Endo—can be toggled on the foot control or the slim fingertip panel. The Perio mode limits amplitude to protect thin biotypes, while Endo activates a narrow stroke for safe canal irrigation.
